Located a short stroll from Crewe town centre, Tom’s Tap and Brewhouse is a fiercely independent, community-focused venue built around a passion for great beer. Occupying three adjoining units on Thomas Street, it combines a working microbrewery, a vibrant events space, and a welcoming taproom open Wednesday through Sunday.
The bar features a regularly changing line-up of up to 12 craft keg beers, many brewed on-site, and an impressive selection of 15 real ciders (the largest in the area). Cask ale is now a permanent fixture, with a commitment to showcasing a variety of house brews, to be enjoyed on keg and cask.
Increasingly, Tom’s Tap beers are appearing in pubs across the region, reflecting its growing reputation among discerning drinkers.
Tom’s Tap is more than just a place to enjoy a pint. It’s a safe, inclusive space that embraces everything that a modern community pub should be. Events include open mic nights, live music, comedy, bottle shares, quiz nights, and themed gatherings. Regular visits from street food vendors enhance the convivial, festival-like atmosphere.
Whether you're a seasoned CAMRA member, a cider enthusiast, or simply exploring the world of independent beer, Tom’s Tap offers a warm welcome, a pint with integrity, and a space where everyone belongs.
