Located a short distance from Crewe town centre, Tom’s Tap and Brewhouse is an independent, community-focused venue with a focus on serving great beer. Occupying three adjoining units on Thomas Street, it combines a working microbrewery, a busy events space, and a welcoming taproom open Thursday to Sunday (also occasionally for special events on Wednesdays). The bar features a regularly changing line-up of up to 12 keg beers, many brewed on-site, and an impressive selection of 15 real ciders. Cask ale is now a permanent fixture with a dedicated cask tap. A variety of house brews dominate the taps with other local breweries also featuring. Tom’s Tap aims to be a safe, inclusive space embracing everything that a modern community pub can be. Events include open mic nights, live music, comedy, bottle shares, quiz nights, and themed gatherings. Regular visits from street food vendors add to the atmosphere and provide food options.
