Celebration of John Webster owning Borough Arms. Also 20 Consecutive years in the Good Beer Guide. Plan to celebrate exactly 20 years ago he became licensee of pub following Alan Hinde departure. He still has 10 hand pumps of cask beer on at all times plus a cider. Trying to determine if it is the 22nd or 29th November.

Branch Social to Dudley Winter Ales Festival at Dudley Town Hall. Train leaves Winsford at 13:09 and Crewe at 13.19 to Wolverhampton then Bus Number 1; X8 to Dudley. Checkout the Bathams XXX.
NB. Festival now opens at 1 PM. More time for drinking before coming home. .

Christmas dinner has been booked for 24 people at the Hawk Haslington for 6.30 pm. Will be a pre dinner social for a beer or two at Broughton Arms, bus stop outside pub. 17:05 from Crewe Bus station service 37 or 16:49 from Winsford or 17:03 from Middlewich and 17:27 from Sandbach. Return bus for Sandbach at 21:48. Change at Sandbach for Middlewich and Winsford. 22:45 for Crewe. Bookings now taken. Will let you know when you need to pre- book Meal options.
