Having briefly been an Indian restaurant called "Kerala Peppery", the former Crown is under new ownership with refurbishment underway. Indications are that it will reopen as the "Royal Saffron", another Indian restaurant. Open plan, red brick late Victorian building with some historic interest, the building predates the Municipal buildings next door.
