See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.
A large two-roomed pub owned by the Goodall family. The Lodge is popular with locals but visitors are extended a warm welcome. The bar offers one regular beer and seven ever changing guest ales, sourced nationally but favoring local microbreweries and regional breweries. Occasionally beers from its own two barrel brewery feature. Up to three bag-in-a-box real ciders are served from producers such as Westons. Host to a variety of occasional events including live music, particularly during the period around the town's music festival, but otherwise this is a quiet pub for conversation. There is a large beer garden in the back that gets busy in Summer. The pub is well served by local transport and there is a public car park at the rear. South Cheshire CAMRA Pub of the Year 2016
