Independently run, award-winning pub, located between the Cheshire towns of Middlewich and Holmes Chapel, and less than a mile from Junction 18 of the M6. The Fox & Hounds is a welcoming, family-friendly country pub with an attached marquee, and a large garden with play equipment for children. All parts of the pub are noticeably well-maintained and the marquee can be used for private functions as well as serving as an extension to the pub. The pub is very popular with diners and was the winner of the Cheshire Life Dining Pub of the year in 2025. Food is locally and sustainably sourced and two of the four cask ales are from the nearby Merlin's Brewery. Two further ales are from the Marston's range of cask-conditioned beers. Live music is regularly staged, either in the marquee or the bar area of the pub.
