Dated from 1767. Originally a single building. Red brick; 3 storeys; Inserted modern and early 19C shop fronts (the former with glazing bars). Lively town centre pub with emphasis on beer. Regularly hosts live bands on Saturday nights and Folk/Unplugged on Tuesdays. Reopened late September 2025. Robinsons Unicorn and Dizzy Blonde available.
